Eligibility Criteria
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (AS ON 01.07.2011):i) Graduation from a recognised university/Institution with minimum 60% Marks. (For Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC category minimum 55% Marks). Graduation results should have been declared by the
university/Institution on or before 01.07.2011.
ii) Computer literacy shall be an essential qualification, which the candidate must either possess before or acquire within six months of joining the Bank.
iii) Diploma in Banking & Finance (DBF) from Indian Institute Of Banking and Finance (IIBF) is a desirable qualification besides the above entry level qualification.
IBPS SCORE REQUIREMENTCandidates should have obtained the valid IBPS CWE-PO/MT-2011 Score card ,Total Weighted Standard Score (TWS) as mentioned below in the Common Written Examination conducted for POs/MTs
in Sept / Nov 2011 by IBPS. Candidates should be able to produce the original IBPS CWE-PO/MT-2011 Score Card in support of the scores mentioned in the on-line application form, if called for Interview.
TOTAL WEIGHTED STANDARD SCORE (TWS):For General Category: TWS – Minimum 120
For Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC/PC): TWS – Minimum 105
NOTE: Candidates should also secure minimum marks, i.e. 24 for General category and 21 for Reserved Categories, in each subject including descriptive test in CWE.
Age Limit (as on 1 July 2011): Minimum 21 years, Maximum 30 years
Pay Scale – ` 14500 – 600 /7 – 18700 – 700/2 – 20100 – 800/7 – 25700 plus DA, HRA, CCA as per rules in force from time to time.
SELECTION PROCESS
A. INTERVIEW:
Mere eligibility/ pass in the Common Written Examination shall not vest any right in a candidate for being called for Interview. Depending upon the number of vacancies, only those candidates who rank sufficiently high in the order of merit in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in Sept / Nov 2011, as per the cut-off marks decided by the Bank will be called for the Interview.
The Interview will carry 50 Marks. Minimum qualifying marks in the Interview will be 22.50 marks for General Category and 20.00 marks for SC/ST/OBC/PC Candidates.
Final selection will be made on the basis of aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in Sept / Nov 2011 & Interview and will be strictly according to the merit ranking. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PC will be given relaxation in marks as per extant Government Guidelines. The Bank reserves the right to change the selection procedure, if necessary.
INTERVIEW CENTRES
The interview will be held at major centres across the country and address of the same will be advised in the interview call letters. The Interviews will be held at different centres on different dates as decided by the Bank and will be communicated to the candidates shortlisted for Interview.
Application Fee: Fee for General and OBC category candidates is Rs 200 and fee for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates is Rs 50.
The fee can be paid either in the form of Payment Receipt Challan which will be available on the bank’s website from 30 March 2012. The fee needs to be remitted in any of Indian Overseas Bank’s branches by means of cash only and collect candidate’s copy of Payment Receipt Challan for the application fee/ postage charge paid. Candidates should ensure that the following information has been correctly entered (1) Branch Name & Code Number (2) Transaction ID (3) Date of deposit and amount.
How to Apply: Candidates need to apply online on the bank’s website http://www.iob.in No other means/ mode of application will be accepted. The registration number and password generated should be retained for future reference.
Candidates should submit the candidate’s copy of Payment Receipt Challan along with the call letter and all other documents as advised in this notification at the time of Interview failing which the candidate will not be admitted for the Interview.

SBI Online – 9500 Clerks (Assistant & Stenographer) Vacancies Recruitment 2012: State Bank of India has modified the clerical recruitment advertisement CRPD/CR/2011-12/05 dated 27.12.2011, revised the total number of vacancies and postponed the date of examination. The revised notification is against recruitment of 8500 Assistant vacancies (inclusive of previously advertised 3100 vacancies) and 1000 Stenographer vacancies. Payment of Fee Offline:
Log on to www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in. Select Online Application Format, fill the application and save it. Download the Fee Payment Challan and take print. Retain the system generated Registration number and password. Pay the amount at any State Bank of India branch after 2 working days of registration and within 3 working days thereafter. Candidates will receive confirmation message through SMS or E Mail
Selection Procedure: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test and Interview taken together.

Eligibility Criteria for recruitment in Reserve Bank of India
Educational Qualification: At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
Age limit (as on 1 March 2012): Maximum 28 years
Pay Scale: basic pay of Rs 8,860 per month (i.e. Rs 8,040 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates only) in the scale of Rs 8,040 – 410 – 9270 – 500 – 11,270 – 550 – 13,470 – 650 – 15,420 – 720 – 16,140 – 990 – 20,100 (20 years) and other allowances, viz. Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance etc., as admissible from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments for Assistants is approximately Rs 19,340. The total CTC of the candidate works out at the minimum to Rs 2,63,500 per annum.
Selection Procedure for recruitment in Reserve Bank of India: The selection procedure will comprise of Written Examination and interview. The Written Examination (WE) will be of 200 marks and will consist of 5 Objective Tests which includes the following.
- Test of Reasoning (40 marks)
- Test of English Language (40 marks)
- Test of Numerical Ability (40 marks)
- Test of General Awareness (40 marks)
- Test of Computer Knowledge (40 marks)
Application Fee: Application fee for General and OBC category candidate is Rs 385 and no fee will be charged from candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD category.
Fee is payable in the form of Online Payment (by using MASTER/VISA debit/ credit cards or Internet Banking)/ Fee Payment Challan by Demand Draft favouring Reserve Bank of India and payable at Mumbai only. Prospective Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the specified eligibility criteria before applying to various Public Sector Banks for the Common Written Examination (CWE). However merely applying for CWE/ appearing for the examination do not imply that a candidate will necessarily be eligible for employment in all or any of the 19 Public Sector Banks as each Bank will stipulate its own eligibility/ qualifying criteria.
Educational Qualification: A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Age Limit (as on 1 January 2012): Minimum 20 years; Maximum 30 years

How to Apply for recruitment of PO/ MT through Common Written Examination (CWE) 2012
Candidates can apply online only and no other mode of application will be accepted. Before applying online, candidates should first pay the application fees
Application Fee: Application fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-Servicemen category candidates is Rs 50 and fee for other category candidates is Rs 450.
Mode of Payment for recruitment of PO/ MT through Common Written Examination (CWE) 2012
- Online Payment: Payment of application fee can be made by using only Master/ Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated. Candidates are required to take a print of the e-receipt which will have to be submitted with the Call Letter at the time of written examination.
- Offline Mode: Candidates can make payment of requisite fees/ intimation charges payment of fees/ intimation charges through CBS branches of the following 6 Public Sector Banks
a) Bank of Baroda
b) Bank of India
c) Central Bank of India
d) Indian Overseas Bank
e) Punjab National Bank
f) United Bank of India
Candidates are first required to take a printout of the fee payment challan from IBPS website and indicate the particular Bank in which they wish to pay fees/ intimation charges. Candidates are required to fill in the fee payment challan for any of the above Banks with details such as Name, Date of Birth, Contact No., Category, Post Applied for, Amount deposited, Depositing Branch Name and City etc.
Collect the candidate’s copy of the Fee Payment Challan from the Branch. Please check that the challan is properly signed and the details of Transaction Number, Branch Name and DP Code Number, Deposit Date have been noted in the challan by the Branch authorities. Candidates are required to submit the original fee payment challan along with the Call Letter at the time of written examination.
Candidates are required to apply online on the IBPS’s website www.ibps.in and enter their basic details and upload the photograph and signature in the online application form. Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature. Candidates should note their Registration Number and Password for future reference.
After applying on-line, the candidate should immediately take a printout of the system generated on-line application form, ensure the particulars filled in are accurate, and retain it for future reference. They should not send this print out to the IBPS.
